I think there was only one person really pushing it (dpc) and he more or less
lost interest.  This kind of thing needs a person to act as catalyst to make
it happen.

Perhaps events have overtaken the reason for the meeting as it was proposed
in the beginning? I know that HVCN is evolving rapidly. Arbornet, sad to say,
has had some real problems over the summer and several people are, I assume,
trying to "man the pumps" there. The joint meeting is still probably a good
idea but I think it might be good to have some goal in mind before we go to
that effort. The people in all three organizations are busy with legitimate
and important parts of their life and I don't want to go to a meeting unless
we are trying to accomplish somethihg positive for all of us.  Even if the
meeting is simply to explore, in all good faith, what positive possibilities
exist. What time I have is quickly being used by the efforts to rais funds
for HVCN, for example, and I have to weigh that against anohther attempt to
gain mutual cooperation among the systems. I am open to suggestions.
