Michigan "University of Michigan" issue ONKEY, which, when preceded by
the large block "M", spells MONKEY.

I saw FAN UK, too. Took me a while to figure out why a Kentuckian would
like Great Britain, though.

re #218: I was about 30 miles north of Huntsville for Thanksgiving
weekend (Pulaski, TN). If I'd known you were going there, I might have
tried to hitch a ride for me and my family. (-:

We're planning to go down again just before Christmas, I think. We'll
probably drive down on Friday, pulling the kids out of school a day early.
It's a seven-passenger vehicle, and we number four, so maybe something
can be worked out. Return date is open, though.

(Heh. I was just struck by a coincidence, Joe. There are four of us as
well, FYI.)

(It might've worked: Only three of us went south for Thanksgiving. And
I've long wondered where Pulaski Pike went. ;)

Okay, I don't see many of these in my part of Texas, but I did catch this one
yesterday, on a Testarossa Spider that zipped past my Geo Metro:

On the way down M-14 last night I spotted HAIL 2M (MI) driving
like a bat out of Ann Arbor. Hailing on 2meter?
Out in Oak Park, spotted DEV NUL (MI).

I would have assumed HAIL 2M in Michigan was "Hail to Michigan," but I could
be wrong.

I think I knew whose plate DEV NUL was at one point, but I've forgotten.
