(because it takes a lot less time, you know, to get to downtown
Ann Arbor than say... Gaylord or something)

Exit 23 at the Washtenaw (Ann Arbor) exit. Be careful, Washtenaw
has two exits, one Ypsi bound the other Ann Arbor. Continue
westbound on Washtenaw. A short ways after the Arby's the right
lane makes a right curve. Take that right curve, you'll still be
on Washtenaw. After you pass the Hill Street light, pay attention,
as the Presbyterian Church will be on the left a short ways
before the next light.
To enter the church go to the door near the rear. The recital
will be on the second floor at the end of the hall. I'll try
to have signs up.
See you there.

And if you haven't said explictly in this item that you'll be
coming, please don't let that stop you from attending. The amount
of seating available will be well in excess of the number of
people who've said they'll make it.

Unbelievable. The neatest show I've seen for a long time. Wide variety of
talent in this group.

I really liked aruba's proof, with all the neat props and audience prizes for
guessing steps.
Thanks for organizing, Mary!

It was just fantastic. I knew that the bunch of people who made up
Grex were neat, but seeing all the different things really brought it
home. I will confess that I didn't know what to expect for Aruba's
proof, but now I'm glad I went, just for that! Vegetable Mathmatics,
what a concept.

There was an exceptional amount of musical and literary talent in the room;
I enjoyed everyone's performances very much. Hearing "Louie, Louie" on the
mandolin (one of my favorite instruments to listen to) and "Tis the Gift to
Be Simple" on the dulcimer were high points for me too. And hearing Katie
sing is always worth the price of admission. :)

I got there almost two hours late, and only heard the last three people, but
they were great. I'm sorry I didn't get to hear the rest of it.
