... I'm not ready for more time on the bike saddle after my ride
yesterday, and I've got hours and hours of sanding to do. (This
is taking forever, or at least it seems that way.)

re #200: I'm sorry to hear it. What happened?

On the nicest day of the year, I had to work, then had a dentist
appointment right after work for replacing a couple of fillings. I
missed out on some of the time I could have had for spending with my
son. (But not all of it!)

resp:202 A sense that things are overwhelming me, and accompanying
depression that has lasted for a long time, that has resulted in a
pattern of tardiness and late lunches. I have been warned and written
up twice now, once more, and I'm gone.

UGH. I just spent my last spare penny on my brakes, and now my alternator
is dead. I can't work if my car isn't running, and I won't make money to buy
a new alternator if I don't work. This paradox sucks, and Dave and I are
trying to figure out a solution (he is also living paycheck to paycheck).

No, we don't have credit cards. No, we cannot ask our parents.

Yes, I'm whining. I feel as if I have a right to after remaining strong these
past few months.

sarah, do you have a checking account? if you are on good terms with
your bank you might go there and ask about a small loan, or maybe
overdraft protection so you can give the auto company a check and
run a negative balance if need be

Flew solo at my last college banquet cause the girlfriend was working... Even
th0ough it was on a riverboat.. there was drinking and dancing.. and guess
who was stuck to looking like a singular nincompoop amongst happy couples..
and the girl gave me the speech the other night "YOu realize you are
graduating and could be moving to South Dakota. Don't let me hold you back
speech." and now it seems to me she's distancing herself from me... and I
don't want that. I'm comfy where I am, with who I've got and it feels good..
I'm not gonna let thye good stuff fly after such a short time.. Ack... I'm
going crazy. .Dunno what to do... Maybe I should go play in traffic or
something.. Or play bad cop at work and kick someones butt and have no
"excuse" for it.... Yeesh...

Yeah...running a negative balance is a GREAT idea...

Regardless, it's taken care of. I called a couple creditors, who allowed me
to postpone payment 'til May (and then pay them double).

IBB We have to move. What we are going to do is, when Jon leaves his
job, he will go to live with friends in the new place. I will stay
here until the baby is born. Then, I will move to where Jon is at.
How we are going to move all our stuff, I don't know. I will not have
the strength to help and will be almost constantly busy with the baby.

response #207 Continued.. I managed to write a letter expressing my
frustration after my girlfriend left.. And I have this sinking feeling me
expressing my feelings DID NOT help.. cause I stopped by to see if she'd read
it or was willing to grab a quick lunch today since I'm running ahead of
schedule. and her music was up.. and door was locked, and she didn't respond
when I knocked on the door. My luck in love stinks.. What in the hell do I
keep doing wrong.. Is it cause I'm myself and I'm not perfect...

The IRS informs me that they 'changed my estimated tax' and I have to pay them
another $369 by May 6. Apparently I did not send them a payment that I
thought I had sent last year or they lost it or something (one year it went
to Michigan instead and got cashed and refunded). Which also means I owe them
first quarter estimated tax for this year instead of getting a refund....

#197 . . . you may not think so at the moment, but congrats on the
pregnancy, Morwen. :)

#212 . . . wow, but that sucks, Keesan. You've definitely got my
sympathy. I remember owing the feds two years straight because
stipends aren't taxed throughout the year. I understand totally.

Too much work to do for my stupid computer class (oh, you know how the
syllabus says one project, lets make it 2 and make the 2 projects combined
only worth as much as the first one and oh, you still have that 3rd exam the
week both projects are due), which is leaving me with NO time to study for
finals, and barely enough time to keep up in my 2 other math classes.

From muppet treasure island:
kid: I hate my life
Gonzo: I hate your life, too
Rizzo: If I had a life, I'd hate it.

I'm with Rizzo.

The reason they did not get my first quarter estimated tax is that I
instructed them to apply a previous year's refund (redid the taxes) towards
it and they did not do so. But at least this is all fixed now.
Two of my neighbors are planning to file tomorrow at midnight. My friend who
usually asks for an extension got his taxes done 'early' this year.

You can send your taxes on Tuesday at midnight if you wish; it's a
state holiday tomorrow in Massachussetts and for some reason that means
the IRS is letting people have an extra day to file.

Yesterday, my bike throttle started sticking for no apparent reason (I'll
have to poke around under the gas tank to see if there's a pinch), and
the engine sprung an oil leak which dripped back all across the side of
the bike.

I wrote this earlier in M-net's agora conference but then thought it
would fit here too:

Whaaaaa The roofers came on Friday and even though I told them it was
going to rain, they ignored me (probably because I am a woman) and
then tore my roof off anyway. They put tarps up when it started
raining but water got in my house anyway. What am I going to do? If my
mother or a significant other loved me enough they would appear and
fix the roof RIGHT NOW at 4am so the drip drip drip from the seven or
eight roof leaks wont keep me up. Nobody loves me because I am
worthless. The whole world is against me and now apparently God
or Mother Nature or whoever is against me too! I tried to call
a friend but all she wanted to talk about was how *SHE* doesnt like to
get phone calls in the middle of the night. WHAAAA. My mother would
probably tell me that it is all my fault anyway. It probably is all my
fault. I made it rain. I made the roof leak. The roofers wont fix it
because it is all my fault. No one will be on my side about this. boo
hoo.

(Dont worry, I have everything worked out with the roofing company)
