Human Resources guy called me back, and told me this next interview
with the VP will last 30 minutes at most. Why so short, I wonder?

Really nice weather today lead to me going outside and throwing a
frisbee around with some friends for a few hours.

My neighbor had his giant cactus out for a sunbath and when I described the
size and appearance of my 20-year-old 6" long bedraggled specimen he agreed
to try to resuscitate it. He says it needs sun, which my apartment does not
offer. I gave him the Christmas cactus to see if he could turn the leaves
from red to green, by applying sun. So I now no longer have to remember to
water two cactuses every three months.

re #202: My guess is that vice presidents don't have time to interview
everyone, but he just wants to meet you and get his impression of you,
and give you a chance to meet him. It seems pretty likely to me that
you're in. I hope so. Good luck!

re: 199: Why do I suck? 'cause I was crafty enough to finagle the day off?

IHB dinner went much better than I expected. The recipe was a Moosewood
Fruit & Veggie curry....and it was actually quite tasty, despite containing
several ingrediants that I detest. And I have leftovers for tomorrow :)

Plus, there was a song that I was really craving to hear earlier when I was
cruising around, and they played it while I was on the way home from my
parents just now.

And, to top it all off, I have all day plans to hang downtown on Tuesday
with a friend. Life is good :)

Yeah... he is the person my manager would answer to. Sigh... wish I
could get it over with sooner.

#206: precisely.

They're not going to adjust interview time with a vp based on how likely you
are to get the job, so I suspect you're just fine, Trisha. :)

I meant 30 minutes is a good thing, because I suspect it's a "Yes I
like her, go on and hire her" situation.

Mo' money!

Nice thunderstorm last night. Not quite the calliber of the late
spring and summer extravaganzas, but a lovely surprise to wake up to in
the middle of the night.

And what says lovin' better than a hefty tax return? I got my cash
from the state and feds sooner than I thought I would.

re 202: VPs learn from an early age that since their calendar
has gridlines every half-hour, they must do something every half-hour.

Mark: Zuccini, cumin, coriander, fennel (which I forgot to add, I later
found out), bananas, and I'm none too fond of green beans either. Doesn't
matter....dinner rocked.

Which Moosewood do you have? I've got the basic & Sunday's, and Sundays is
probably one of my absolute favorite cookbooks.

I received a mention on the Pen & Ink Comics webpage. It can be found
at http://www.geocities.com/penandinkcomics under the "Ranting Artist"
feature. Apparently, I was the first to place an order for the
collected _Wandering Star_ series on compact disc. I admit that it is
a little disappointing to learn that no one else had placed an order
before me.

I might start today, again.
