The next one, I believe, is tentatively scheduled for June 27, but I
don't think either the bowling alley or the time have been set yet.

Mark, do you know yet if you'll be there tomorrow? Brooke (who is
without a computer this week; I'm digging out bits and pieces of things
she mentioned to me, and which are now concealed in my mind somewhere)
was also looking forward to seeing you.

I hope that's as good of news for you as it is for us.
It looks like we'll have a pretty good turnout tonight. I hope so. Let's
fill up some lanes!

My son and I will be bowling on a bumper bowl lane (no gutter balls).
Anyone who's intimidated by the gutters is welcome to join us!

A big crowd for bowling tonight. We had ea, aruba, jep II, jep III, edina,
drew, mooncat, and bhelliom. Carol joined Brooke and me later for dinner in
the restaraunt part of Cubs.
I really enjoyed meeting Brooke for the first time - she said she was a bit
manicy from drinking at Starbucks, but I suspect she's really like that all
the time. ;)
For some reason, the ball went where I told it to this time, in sharp
contrast to last time, when I couldn't hit anything. I think I bowled my
best game ever. I suspect I just found a good ball this time - 10 pounds
seems to be the right weight for me.

In contrast to #207, I was not able to get the ball to go where I wanted
it to. Doesn't matter, it was still fun.

Mark- I think the praying helped. ;)
The Blue Rose and I did not actually bowl (for all you people who
weren't there :p) due to trendonitis. However, I must concur with Mark
and say that I too really enjoyed meeting Brooke. :)

I hadn't met mooncat or bhelliom before, and was surprised to see drew,
whom I hadn't seen in years. It was nice meeting them all.
My son and Brooke really seemed to get along well. He also got a kick
out of Anne's last name being Perry.
John was bowling off a ramp since he's too small to throw the ball hard
enough to get it to the end of the lane consistently. The ramps all
seemed to be bent on the ends, and it was very difficult getting the
ball to hit any of the pins. I'm going to encourage John to roll the
ball himself in the future, rather than using a ramp. He had a great
time anyway.
I didn't bowl well, either. I hinted to Brooke that she was being
unladylike for beating me. That helped a little as she was on pace for
about a 260 game at that point. She had a terrific game regardless.

And you wonder why we were happy to both have tendonitis for the first
time.
I will echo everyone and say that it was indeed great to finally meet
Brooke. Hopefully this will not be the last time. :)

You both have tendonitis? Eeps. Feel free to ask me about it; I've had
plenty of experience. :/

I still haven't met anyone to whom I am not actually related with my last
name. If I did meet someone from a different Gustitus line I would probably
find it very weird.

Scott- this would be why I've adopted Bhelliom's nickname
of 'Trendonitis'
re #210- John- lil John is a great kid. :)

Absolutely. Awesome kid you got there, John.
Trendonitis and possible carpel tunnel. I have had problems with my
hands since high school.

I can handle being unlady like.
I had a great time - and Mark - it really was from the caffeine - I swear!
It was awesome to meet people and put faces to names. And the fact that I
had a good game definitely was a bonus.
