Hi all! It's great to see people open to so many things. I love most music,
now when I say music, I mean something that I can like listen to at a concert
w/o going completely deaf, or be completely bored. My top fave in the music
category is Classical. It is soo easy to listen to. My fav. composer is
Mozart, and I love Opera, in fact, it's what I would like to do with my life,
that is become an Opera Singer. My favorite singer now is Cecilia
Bartoli...who incidentally just made her debut at the MET as Despina in Cosi
Fan Tutte. I LOVE to listen to her sing, I don't really sound like her, I
sound more like Kathleen Battle, or other Mozartean Sopranos. Well, ok, I'm
done, stick a fork in me:)

A recent defintion of music incorporates that of any and all noise and sound.
[B[D I like music that takes this into consideration and allows for creative
expression on
(yikes this sytem will be the deat of ME!!!) Greenwich vill in new york.
People were gathered in a cirlce and making rhythmic sounds with andything
they had on ahnd. some used the top of a garbage can and a stick, some used a
 pringle
can with some small stones and it was shaken to a beat - others used beer
bootles and sticks. i beielve that this sort of music is the basis for the
muscial "Stomp!" exit quit

Now that Grex is running at a tolerable speed again, your humble
fairwitless will try to get in here a bit more regularly and stir
things up.

*Everyone* can do the Macarena, and in fact *must*, if they ever intend to
attend a wedding reception or any other party. :-)
