IBB I have 6 sick kitties. We had the males neutered a week and a half ago.
Thursday I had to take them in because they were sneezing and coughing They
went on anitbiotics and decongestants. Yesterday the girls started so I get
to call and take them in tomorrow. Giving pills to 2 kittens every 8 hrs was
bad enough. I am not looking forward to having to capture and dose 6.

IBB my roomies grandfather died yesterday, and I found out from a message
that her mother left for her on our answering machine. I thought I heard
her crying last night, but anytime I turned the tv down, it was quiet. :(

glenda - i feel your pain. maybe this will make you feel better. last year
i took in a pregnant stray. she had 6 kittens. turns out the mom had ringworm
and passes it to all 6 due to nursing. so there i am with 7 ringwormed
kitties. the babies had bad patches and were too young for oral medication.
no place would take them in fear of infecting other animals. turned out i had
to prepare a mixture of sulfur and warm water, put mineral oil i their eyes
and fully dip the kitties in the sulfur bath and let them drip dry. one by
one, once a week, for four weeks. no fun!

IBB we have appointment for kitties at 4:30 tomorrow. Smudge couldn't wait
so I just got back from kitty urgent care. She had to have sucutaneous
fluids, an antibiotic injection, antibiotics to come home, eye cream for
conjunctivitis. Poor baby. They suggested keeping her and giving her IV
fluids but didn't feel it was absolutely needed at this time. I have to keep
a close watch on her and if she gets the slightest bit worse she goes back
ASAP. They also suggest she still goes in tomorrow for the appointment just
for a recheck.
She was having trouble breathing because her little nose is so stuffy. Her
sneezes aren't the cute little achoos the others have, her's are loud and
shake her whole body. I could see the deteriation between the time I left
this morning and when I got home after class this afternoon.

the phone line, meaning I can't get an important phone jack to work.

IBB of continuing homesickness...
Ashley (the bisexual in theory) and her boyfriend Ben (who as yet has no
nickname... he even still goes by ben!) and I went to eatnpark tonight and
in a far corner of the smoking section there was a group of kids who if I was
home would have been my friends. But they weren't. And they scared ben, so
we left. It was just too much like home, and all the worse because it wasn't
home.
Additionally, all of my friends have made housing plans for next year without
me, so I guess it almost makes it a good thing that I'm in danger of losing
my scholarship and not being able to come back next year. Almost. I can't live
by myself!

Not the death......Nikki already knew about that. (She got a call at work,
and then promptly went home early), but on Sunday, her mother called with
some information about the funeral and such, and that's how I found out
about it.
IBB my stoopid Territory Manager is showing up in Detroit today, and isn't
leaving until Friday. He *will* be visiting our store at some point, and
none of us have any idea as to what he looks like. This means that we're
going to have to play the "Dumb TR Greeting Game" with everybody who walks
in the store. ( I want our old TM back....he rocked!)
