I am work and hanging out on grex. It gives me something to do while on
hold or while I am waiting for a file to copy to my pc or while I am
waiting for a phone call. I seem to do a lot of waiting at my job so
grex (and Mnet too) kind of keeps me sane during those moments.

I spent my workday today playing with four laptop computers and a
desktop, and I didn't have time to Grex today.

It has been bicycling weather since the snow melted in February.

Some of us aren't so brave and don't like to ride when it is raining, or so
cold we need to wear a hat.

IVHB I have been called back for a second interview for the writer
position. :) :) I am meeting with a VP, who is in fact the person that
my potential manager answers to. The HR guy who called today said that
this VP likes to meet with people "who are about to join our team". So
I am thinking this is a formality, and unless I fart or something
during the interview, I'm in. :)

I have never had a corporate interview series like this, so I'm unclear
as to how it all works.

(but then I don't want to get too excited yet until it's definite)

Oh yeah, and I'm also happy because my toddler nephew said "Hey baby"
and "cool" the other day. I love being an aunt! :)

Well, my three-days-of-hell week will end very shortly when I collapse into
bed. My most recent feat? Writing an essay on Hamlet in an hour and 15
minutes. Notably only because I had approximately 2 1/2 hours of free time
to do it in, period, so I was stuck with whatever I got.

So, my week is practically over. I'm also happy because in celebration, I
might just head over to Windsor and catch the Spitfires hockey game. I just
found out they're leading their series 3-0, another pleasant surprise. More
hockey to see.

70 degrees and sunny. What more is there to say?

Oh yeah, and I managed to get myself out of working today, so I got to drive
around with my music blaring, and now I've got the windows open, and I'm
about to make a meal that I've been meaning to try for years. :)

IHB my summer and next fall are shaping up to suck less than I expected --
looks like I'll have a decent job, maybe some work as a lab assistant too,
and classes worth taking.

Also, for some unknown reason, we have capers in the fridge. This thrills
me beyond all reason.
