IHB SpaceX Demo-2 launch and dock with ISS were successful. Congratulations

Sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the grease. I had a 1:1 with my
boss's boss (vice president) a couple weeks back and he asked if I was
having any problems. I said 'yeah, my laptop keeps me from doing my job
productively.' He said he had no problem getting me a better laptop and
today it arrives. It's still not the highest end of the models but it's
not a dual-core. Thus I'm happy applications will run faster and not
crash so much (knock wood).

Golf clap...and yes, it is a much better laptop and I've already seen
difference: I'm not waiting 2 min. for files to load. And I don't
have all the issues with programs that I had with the other ones.
So, getting more done and spending less time in the chair now.

Still working at this place. My boss quit and I took over her work.
Might got into October now. So, from an income point of view that
makes me happy.

IHB yesterday evening I solved a program problem between SAS ODS and
the RTF file a program was creating. I was able to help the programmer
without even seeing the code, so after determining that RTF was the type
of output being produced, we dug into the structure of the program and
found it had multiple parts. Fortunately we could add the right code in
the right place to achieve the result the programmer wanted.

Shhhh
He never does that. Doctored video.
Also, he does not support the green new deal and he never said he
will ban fracking. He will not pack the supreme court. He never
threatened that prosecutor in the Ukraine. If you say otherwise,
you'll be investigated.
Netflix will never be punished. 30k emails, wiped phones, Weiner's
laptop, fake dossier, illegal spying, on and on and on and on and
on.
There should be a GI Joe doll dressed in USSR Olympic running
clothes that has a pull string that says:
'Some people did something'
'The new normal'
'It's been debunked'
'We are the winning team'
'it's a vast right wing conspiracy'
'we came, we saw, he DIED'

I'm happy because I have a working virtual network
connection to a VAX that I'm emulating in simh, so I can get
files and data in and out of it.

IHB because I interviewed for a position in another project at my
current company and got the job. And better yet, this department says
they generally don't have to work overtime. I guess, we'll see about
the overtime, but less than we work now would be nice. It's another
manager job, but just people this time, no need to help the programmers
like I do currently. Hopefully will be good for another couple years or
so.
