"Don't ask questions, go get the album!" Heh. Do you know how many CDs
one ends up with if one takes that advice routinely? :-)

Dave Mathews new album is called "Crash". I just got done logging and stocking
about 50 of them at work. I work at Sam Goody in the Arborland Mall, in case
you were wondering.
Meddle is a much cooler album, though. We have the Pink Floyd box set in the
in-store play rotation. You gotta love that!

<birdy puts in that cool, jazzy Beatles song and forces James to dance with
her>
I've heard one song ("Too Much") off of the new Dave Matthews, and I *LOVE*
it. I'm convinced enough to go out and buy it. I usually wait a while, but
I loved the first one, so why not? =)

The new Dave Matthews cd rocks -- "People" magazine also gave a *very* good
review of it in this weeks issue. =)

They're playing *something* outside very loud... I can hear it with my windows
shut. In honor of Slope Day.

I went out and bought _One of These Nights_ by the Eagles the other day --
I've been sort of slowly accumulating their albums in a haphazard way.
Anyway, about halfway through the album is an instrumental song called
"Journey of the Sorcerer." I got almost halfway through the song before
I realized where I'd heard it before -- it's the _Hitchhiker's Guide to
the Galaxy_ theme! Wild!

Maybe with my graduation money I will buy some CDs. There is a CD called
"house of Acid Jazz vol. 2" I am dying to have but can't find it ANywhere.
I have vol. 1 and it rocks... I like modern music a lot. Totally makes my
imagination go ballistic.
Attention Dave Matthews fans: The Memphis Music Fest is this weekend, in, duh,
Memphis, where I live. Dave himself is playing here. My friend went downtown
last night and saw him practicing. Since I can do without him, I am not
freaking out about it. But now you all are nice and jealous. Tee hee! Michelle
Shocked is playing too, I'd like to see her... and Van Morrison...

I just do not undestand this Alanis thing. She seems very contrived...
strategically touseld hair, stragecially messed up clothes, stragegically bad
posture. She has a guy who writes most of her songs. She just seems like a
marketing thing to me... on icky Madonna's record label at that.
And that Marilyn Manson scares the hell out of me. It's a creative name tho...

Now that you mention Ms. Morrisette, her singing, if we could call it that
is mostly just yelling foul words into the mike. Boggles the mind, man.
