In my dictionary, "haggis" is spelled with an 'i'; I can't find it
spelled with a 'u'.

Re #145 - "kurgan": what's tghat? The only Kurgan in my dictionary is
Kurgan, Siberia, a proper noun, and hence disallowed.

My dictionary has "kurgan: a burial mound of eastern Europe
or Siberia", which is why I allowed it.

Hey, after all the crap I went through on prusik, I look all my
guesses up in advance. I must have the same dictionary aruba has
because that's exactly what mine says (and said, before I ever entered
my guess). I was unaware that the only dictionary allowed was rcurl's.
"The only Kurgan in my dictionary...and hence disallowed" implies
to me that his dictionary must be the "official" one for this game.

[Perhaps we should name the WWW Webster Dictionary Server as the official
dictionary?]

I think we should have it as if you can find a
version of the word that works in *your*
dictionary, then it counts.

I agree. I had a lot of crap myself once, when I used a word from my
dictionary that hardly anyone else had in their's. These are just the
nuances of the game. And I never implied that my dictionary was
"the only dictionary allowed". I just said the word wasn't in mine,
and asked what it meant.
But now, I'm stuck for a word that meets all the clues (except kayaks!),
and have to start the charcoal - so, good luck, whomever!

Well, Kayaks is indeed correct. I thought it wouldn't be long once
we had it down to ka___s. kentn is up. My first guess:
