All the guesses so far are in ~aruba/letter.match .

I hate to breakup a perfectly good game with a picky little squabble
over the rules, but ~rcurl/letter.match has a list of guesses and
scores, not the rules as stated in #0.

Try ~rcurl/lettermatch.rules

Drat, there is a rule against going twice in a row.

Ding! I must apologize, because I realized halfway through that oeuvre had
been used before. (One should always check ~rcurl/l.m.words to see if a word
has been used before picking it, but I forgot to.) Anyway, it's a weird word.
Paul's up!

oeuvre has been used before (not that there is anything wrong with
that - just that it is very unusual). See ~rcurl/l.m.words for all
six letter words that have been used. I have starting adding them at
the top of the list....the original list is also there with the words
in the other order. I intend to invert the latter to make one list
with the most recent word at the beginning rather than at the end. What
is the unix command to reverse the order of lines in a file?

(BTW Paul, it helps if you put the guesses in a file called letter.match
in your home directory.)
