IHB this weekend I can stock up on gifts for my sons for their birthdays
later this year. $1 for mugs with slogans on them such as "Best Dad"
"Best Dad Ever" "My Hero Dad" "Hey Dad, You're Great"

It took a while but I finally convinced my kids to skip the gifts for
b-day and fathers day. It's almost as if by magic I tend to accumulate
more stuff than I want. Once I have something, I'm illogically reluctant
to part with it ... I might need it at some unspecified time in the
future. My next step is to convince them that on my b-day and fathers
day they have to accept something from me that I no longer need :)

I ask my sons for good grades for my birthday. Sometimes they remember.

At the gruesomely named Hung, Drawn, and Quartered pub across the street from
the Tower of London.

I remember the first time I visited London in the 1990s that one had to look
to find fish & chips instead of curry. Today it seems they take a little more
pride in traditional pub food.

I spilled some curry fries on my shirt while driving M50 in Ireland.
That's the part of the experience discovering that the Launderette
at the Top gas station takes 3 hours to dry clothes.

On one my work trips to the UK my boss (from the UK) told me to pass
(overtake) in the middle lane (suicide lane), and do it fast! Apparently, in
the UK if there are broken squiggly lines and three lanes, either direction
can use the middle lane for passing. On top of that the middle lane was extra
narrow, so while I was passing oncoming cars had to make way. Not really a
good move for a visitor. I think by boss my testing my wits.

We could roll it but it would take 5 years to build it back up again,
probably. I have the roll instructions just not the time.

IHB today I fixed an issue in a reporting system that few understand
and certainly not the person who set it up for their study. Curiousity
sometimes pays off when debugging weird issues.

People protesting the corona lock-down are domestic terrorists.
People rioting, looking and setting buildings on fire in MPLS have had
enough and are merely expressing themselves. Social media must fact
check conservative ideas. Social media are not the arbiters of truth.
You can get corona virus in a bar. You can't get corona virus in
Walmart.
Welcome to 2020. No admittance without a mask. Please keep your
distance.

The seatbelt sign has been turned off for your convenience.
Feel free to move about the capitalist cabin to spend money on
Chinese products. If there is a sudden change in economic pressure
you will be kindly asked to go back to quarantine until the captain
has given the textile and media all clear.
Thank you for flying Red Propaganda Airlines.

Love is a burning thing
And it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell in to a ring of fire
I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
