It seems to me that this is a problem where transit needs to lead the
way, rather than figure out how to follow. In San Francisco and New York,
the downtown areas are a real pain to drive to, but they're still *the*
convenient location for any business trying to target more than a single
neighborhood. This is because they are the areas where public transit goes
to from everywhere else, and getting between any other two points likely
involves going through the downtowns. In contrast, in places like Ann Arbor
or Detroit, the downtowns are treated just as places where it's hard to park.

resp:153 Yup, remmers was the only grexer I saw on my birthday this
year. I was a bit hung over due to deciding the night before that 35
was a year best met drunk. remmers was very polite and didnt
say, "Geez, you look like shit" or anything like that :) You can pretty
much always count on remmers to be polite.

Spotted scott, just a few minutes after arriving back in Ann Arbor after
a month long absence.
Spotted happypup (formerly ivynymph) at her home in Austin, TX. It was
planned, though.
