I would guess not likely, neither she nor Max seem all that interested
in birds. Though Loki will ocassionally eat spiders.

re #135 not all that interested in live meat? Is Loki a vegetarian or
something? :)

You can be a carnivore and still not like live meat.

You can also be a dog and not connect birds with food...

For cats, hunting is instinct. Actually eating the prey is taught! Weird,
but true.

resp:139 - Is that universally true? My friend's cat, Baby, didn't have
the opportunity to really get outside until his people moved to their
current home. Now he brings carcasses home, eats part of them and
leaves the rest on their porch. *shudder*

resp:133 - The Anne Room. We often refer to that room as "Anne's Old
Room" when making a distinction from the other bedrooms, so it seemed
appropriate.

I suppose he could have just claimed the kill. The condition of the
bird, having absolutely no visible signs pointing to cause of death,
makes it impossible to determine if Magnus killed it, or it it ran into
the patio, the walls of which (Anne knows, anyway) is entirely made of
glass windows and sliding doors.

re resp:146 Nearly universally true- though of course, the exception
must prove the rule. ;)

I know people who bring home carcasses from the store and put them in the
refrigerator and then even eat part of them.

Heh, when I was a kid I was told my dad had purchased half a cow... So I
honestly thought that it meant we would get half a cow- feet, skin and
everything. This worried me and yet I was relieved when I found out that
no, it didn't come that way.

IBB- my stupid shoulder is bothering me again.

You could prop it up and someone walking along would just see a regular
cow, and then once they get closer, they would be in for a big surprise.

#151 half a cow?! you must have had a big freezer. Thats a couple months
worth of meat at least. That reminds of the old I Love Lucy episode, where
Lucy buys two sides of beef, not knowing two sides means a whole. So she gets
tons of beef and spends the rest of the episode trying to hide her mistake
from Ricky.
