I've done the crab thing in Maryland too, and it's a lot of fun. Don't
forget the beer.

Growing up, I spent many lazy summer weekends on tributaries of the
Chesapeake Bay picking crabs out of the water with some string,
chicken necks and a net. Back then it was easy. The news coverage
I've seen in the Washington Post indicates that the crab population
is crashing, and there are probably going to be severe restrictions
on the catch.

I never liked to eat the damn things, although I do love crab soup.
Everybody in the neighborhood would be eating crabs in our backyard,
and I'd insist on a hot dog.

Re #123: Thanks, Michael. I can't help but notice how absurdly
easy it was to get an answer to this question, and an answer that
refuted quite completely a Certain Person's often-repeated claim.

Oh thanks. Even Jamie never believed Jamie's oft-repeated claim, you
know. I just wanted everyone to shut up about it, though. It is
incredible how Grexers and "mnetters" alike will yammer on about that
whereof they know not, when all anyone has to do is pick up the phone.

I think the beer is to distract you from the fact that you're basically
eating a giant cockroach.

They all have too much 'fun' pretending that identifying themselves beyond
doubt is an evil, conservative-ploy designed to ruin the World ;-)
