I really like Metallica's newer stuff. I have two of their CD's, but don't
know much about their concert schedule.

a real shout when you type in caps. Plus it hurts users' eyes.

'Nother newbie here. Just thought I'd throw my two bits in.

If there is anyone out there who likes industrial, rave, or techno, I'd like to
hear from you. I'm into alot of music but mostly industrial. Love Jane's
Addiction, however. Mother Love Bone, Butthole Surfers, and anything t any
suggestions? (I bet I just messed up the previous line.) :( For industrial I
like (In order of familiarity) Ministry, any of the Al Jourgensen projects like
Lard, 1000 Homo DJs, etc Love Front 242, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult,
Front By Front, Nine Inch Nails (I'm not a new fan. I have it all except the
Closer remixes and most of the bootlegs), Pigface, and almost anything else.
Sometime I write industrial/cheap MODs and a few are posted somewhere on the
internet don't ask me where (half are corrupted). Got another 6 more coming
out soon. Joy of joys. That's about it. Replies?

I too like many kinds of music, but it's most exciting that the 90's have
this great "alternative" current force because it is happening now. If anyone
in the Philly, NY or Albany are is on line right now, know that the WDRE
network, which has been playing "alternative music A to Z" for the last week,
got up to Morrisssey's "More you Ignore Me the close I get", and then began
playing all Morrissey, at least 10 songs so far! This "A to Z" thing must be
programmed, and at the point it got to " More You Ignore Me..." a terrible
mistake was made probably becauae Morrissey comes after More in the
alphabetical listing and now WDRE is the All-Morriseey All-Night network! I
like Moz so it doesn't bother me any. o

Tom Waits fans?
Looks like things don't move as fast here in music as in Agora, at least
to this newbie.
Also interested in a lot of the new cool music out nowadays (in the 80s
we thought the 70s sucked, until the 90s, when we realized it was really
the 80s that sucked 8^} )

Welcome to Grex, Aaron. Yes, people talk about anything concerning
music here. Too bad that we don't have a utility to write music.
Enter a browse at an Ok: prompt, to see if there is an Item
on music authorship, and, if not, enter one!

I like lots of different music...anything from REM to Bon Jovi,
Aerosmith to Garth Brooks, Ace of Base and Salt and Pepa to musical
soundtracks (esp. Jesus Christ Superstar and Phantom). I love to
listen to music, sing it, and play it. I have been in choir since
7th grade (I am now a freshman in college) and I used to play the
flute. (well I still do, just not in a band) I love music!!!!

Wow! I'd have to say I pretty much agree with you. I like just about any
kind of music(well, except for Ace of Base). I can go from listening to
Garth Brooks' "The Hits" to Les Miserables to The Police. People think
I'm crazy.

My usual problem is that I can't listen to 'easy' musci, like a lot of pop
or show tunes, etc.
I tend to get into the more difficult music, which means an invenstment of
several listenings to get into a CD...
