And that is why you hate classical music to this day, right? :)

I like classical, and all kinds of music. But there are certain pieces that
I really cannot stand.

I don't like most chamber stuff. Every time I tuned to the old format
WUOM, I thought another Russian premier had died. Somber stuff.

I most prefer chamber music, for its variety, excitement and flare.
(If you turn on WUOM now, you'll hear more than you want to know about
how the Russian premier is dying.)

Thumbs down to the WUOM programming changes
There's lots of great chamber music. I like quartets, like Borodin #2

Chamber music is great indeed. My IQ climbs 5 points every time I
listen to a Bartok string quartet.

Cumulative, and I'm writing a book on it. Look for it in the
self-help section of your favorite bookstore.
