I thought it was in the Other Grex Organizational Conferences sections and
the description was simply "The Association of Ohio Grex Users" if I remember
correctly.

Apparently at some point an old version (a *really* old one, it looks like)
was used instead of the latest version of the file containing this
information. I restored from an only-somewhat-old one that was lying around,
merging in a couple of recent changes. Scott checked against
officially-logged conference changes & fixed up some more. If anyone notices
any other missing or erroneous listings in the information provided when you
do a "help conf", please email cfadm. Thanks.

Thanks for noticing & asking, Robert.

No problem! There are other things I've *noticed* but they can be brought up
later! >8)

<carson waves his hand>

I noticed that the cars conference doesn't have a FW anymore. I'd like to
FW it, and I even promise not to try any stupid FW tricks there.

I'm not asking because the conference name is so similar to my own, although
at times I think that's why my dad picked my name out for me. :)

Carson as fw of cars sounds to me like a good idea.
As always, Grex has no official policy on how this kind of fw change
works. Would it make sense to enter an item in the cars conf to make
the change, or to just go ahead and do it? Hm.

My general feeling is that for an established conference, it's
best if the participants in the conference have an opportunity
for input into fw changes. That means discussing it in the
conference, since not all participants read coop. It's
certainly the more democratic appropach.

The majority should not impose ideas on the minority, unless they are
into the subject? Sounds good to me.

I've entered an item intended to bring about discussion on this in the cars
conference. It's item 77. It would be better to take discussion of possible
FWs there, rather than further drifting this item. (Possible FWs for that
conference, I mean.)

focused items, and announce here ... thankxx davel.
