When I was on the People's Food Co-op board of directors, they bought
indemnification insurance, to protect the individual board members in case
of a lawsuit. It might make sense to ask them for info, and find out who
their insurance agent is.
Grex's bylaws (or articles of incorporation?) say that the directors are
indemnified in case of a lawsuit. But I think it would be no bad thing to
have insurance to back that up.

Well, heck. No one is ever going to sue you if your intentions are good, and
your hearts are pure. Sure!

I'm working on a homepage for a personal injury lawyer right now, and one of
the things he wants on the web is a page of summaries of several cases he's
gotten big settlements or verdicts in. One thing I've noticed consistenly
in this is that he keeps talking about settling for the insurance policy
limit, or getting a verdict of the insurance policy limit. I don't know how
these things work in general, but if that's any indication about how things
are generally done, that would make insurance seem a lot like bait for
lawsuits.

has there been a recent "interference" with grex's operations? this
might be a cooling off effect taking place at this point.
