Re resp:124: That's pretty accurate. Of course, no one drinks Red Bull
because it tastes good -- they drink it because it's loaded with
caffeine. It's much like coffee that way.

I've only ever had it once, but I like the taste of Red Bull. :(

I've tried those energy drinks and its liquid candy. Too tart. Lime kool-aid
to be more precise. Makes no sense to buy it in a can.

Double vodka with redbull tends to get one into serious trouble.

I'm presently drinking a "Tab Energy" The Coca Cola company has taken
the venerable TAB brand and is now using a new version of it to take
on Red Bull in the energy drink market. Think TAB with ginseng,
taurine, guarana extract and twice the caffeine. Its not bad,
although it tastes more like Red Bull than Tab.

Boy, Tab is a brand I never thought anyone would want to revive.

response 146 of 149: Mark Unseen   Feb 11 22:04 UTC 2006

re #143 they didn't REVIVE Tab, Tab was never dead, its still made and
has its own little niche market of loyal drinkers. They just haven't
advertised Tab since they started making Diet Coke over twenty years
ago, so people THINK its not made anymore. But it is.

re #146: I didn't say they were reviving the product, I said I was
surprised they were reviving *the brand.* If they've got a new product
they're promoting under the Tab name, I think that qualifies.

response 148 of 149: Mark Unseen   Feb 11 22:37 UTC 2006

okay, well they did revive the brand about ten years ago when they came
out with Tab Clear, but that and all the other "clear colas" bombed.
