You can replace some parts if they stop working on the grill (igniter?) or
clean out clogged orifices. But other parts might rust out if you leave it
outside, such as the flame spreader (too many holes) and that might also be
replaceable, for a price. It depends more on amount or type of usage (how
much grease gets into it) and whether it is left someplace wet, not on the
number of months you have owned it. The orifice, says Jim, mixes some air
into the fuel before shooting it into the flame spreader.
So the orifice will not work if the little holes are clogged, or if they are
too big because it rusted. There is also a little air-mix regulator right near
the orifice that has to be adjusted. The igniter could wear out (you can
still use a match). The grill itself (the part the pot sits on) could rust
through. The chamber (burner) could rust out.

So if I havent used it in about a year and have left it outside the
whole time, it might not still work?

Good chance that something might have rusted shut (some holes). You might
be able to unclog them with a wire. We really had better bike out there soon
and look at all your little interesting problems - I recall you wanted a phone
line in the basement, what else was on the list? You can trade us a vegan
lunch to refuel us for the return trip. And grapes in September.

You could put a plastic cover over to keep out the rain.
Bikes don't like being left out in the wet either, things rust together.

Did you also have a cordless phone problem? And a bike to adjust? (Do you
have a working air pump?).

hahaha.

You can have grapes when they come in but after those really cold days,
some of my grape vines dont look too good so I cant promise the grapes
will be good. They were good last year though. *shrug*.

I think I am proving that any idiot can grow grapes although maybe I
should wait to say that. The grapes might suck this year.

Anyhow, I have a friend flying in from California who is going to be
fixing all kinds of little things for me although certainly not the
cordless phone.
