After the . . . fun . . . the last/first time I was "it", I've been reluctant
to guess right. I've now modified a script Kent offered me, so I guess I'll
give it a go.

antitax  5  (kentn)
dishrag  3  (gelinas)
sprites  0  (gelinas)

score(sprites) = 0 ==> score(---it--) = 0
score(antitax) = score(ant--ax) + score(---it--) = score(ant--ax) + 0 = 5,
so score(ant--ax) = 5, score(-----a-) = 1, and score(ant---x) = 4
score(dishrag) = score(dis---g) + score(---hr--) + score(-----a-) = 3
score(ant---x) = 4, so score(dis---g) = 0 giving
score(dishrag) = 0 + score(---hr--) + 1 = 3,
so score(---hr--) = 2
which means that 7 = score(ant--ax) + score(---hr--) = score(anthrax)

So that's my guess:

        anthrax
