Hello. I'm new to this conference. I joined because I bought an album
yesterday which I would like to recommend to all you people out there with
good taste. Some of you have probably heard it before. It's David Bowie's
"Scary Monsters." Wow, what a good disc. We're talking, industrial strength
music, here. Some incredible songs are: "It's no game part 1," "Scary Monsters
(and supercreeps)," "Ashes to ashes," and "Fashion." Good,
6BGmrO?]vfLLrR~m?W5od good album. Essential for Bowie fans like myself. More
about me and my tastes: The big people I listen to are Bowie, Hendrix, and
talking Heads. Also Peter Gabriel, Miles Davis (of course), a little Police
(for old times' sake), Stravinsky, Frank Zappa, and some other folks. If
anybody's heard or has Scary Monsters, whaddya think of it?

that's funny when you mentioned "Frank Zappa" I was told to give Zappa a try.
All I need to do is to get my hands on one of those albums. The music I enjoy
is, I guess normal. Primus, Frank Black, Tool, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, etc.. I'm
not too impressed with these local groups. I too is in a band.. I play the
bass guitar. I guess I'm not the average bass player.. I am saving up for a 6
string. Like someone mentioned before.. Six strings scream and I die.. or
something like that. ^ string basses , obviously :)

Vivaldi! My music? Decades of Diversity . Really chuckled at our fan of
fornication. Great sense of humor! "."

It is Iggy Pop, I stand corrected. Thank you Gerald E. Peck (gerund)
Saw Pink Floyd at Silverdome July 14, 1994. Drove 300miles to get there. Got
home at 5am next morning. For an over thirty computron it was a big thrill to
see and experience the dome, and see the Pink Floyd concert.

Any one out there like metallica? I absolutely love that band. Iplay guitar
and try to play some of their stuff but it is really difficult. I would love
to find a fellow fan to talk to about concert dates and the goings-on tof the
band.
