Re #98- Carson let me borrow this.
The whole thing is rather extraordinary in many ways.
Final Regret is perhaps the most effective song I've heard in years.
There isn't anything in that song but an honest statement.
No preaching, no condemnation... just an honest statement about a
tragic thing.
I must say that nothing else on the album really struck me like that
song, but it WAS a very emotionally diverse album.
Bongo Blues can NOT be listened to without a hearty laugh, especially
if your life has been quite miserable lately.
All in all it's really a most memorable album.

Btw... thanks for loaning this to me Carson... A LOT

Has anyone heard a band out of Detroit called "Red Grover" ? A
friend of mine is in it, but I've never been able to see
them perform. If anyone's heard them, let me know how they
were, if you liked their music, itc.

Hey! Everyone should savor the music of Lab*Lob*Otomy!
"You guys sound like shit!" -this girl named katie
"This isn't real music" -this guy named steve
"You guys are really awful" -this one kid whom I don't know.
"This is impossible to listen to" -my mom
so there you have it! Rave reviews for my band!

I want to thank you for reviewing our album. (re #98 and 100.) To clarify
afew points, the bnad name is actually called [d]ave. This is important only
in that it seperates me (dave) from the band ([d]ave). I also want to point
out that my drummer is exactly one half of the band. His name is Dave-As-Well,
and he resembles Animal from the Muppets in more than one way. The tape sells
for $4.50, averaging 45c. a song. Let me know if you're interested. (I'm
working on a solo thing now, and i'll let you know of its porgress.)

Thank you very much for liking the tape. i humbly blush, and so does Dave-As-
Well. I will give a copy of "...grapefruit" to one of the people who go on
the Grex walk when i get some more made up. It costs $4.50, most of which
oops.
most of which covers the cost of making the album. I will try for this weekk
or next. (I just realized the lack of coherency this exhibits. The point of
me giving this to one of the grex walk people is so they can pass it on to
you.)

i've got one song completely done for the new one. it's called "Benny."
A person i respect VERY much as far as musical tastes goes has heard
the song and likes it a lot. He says its the best thing i've recorded
yet. I've got some of a coupple other songs laid down, and i'll be
working on it some more hopefully in a week or so. I misspelled "couple."
