I've got photos of the children's park built in Bucharest by Michael Jackson.
He spent time living there once upon a time until wearing out his welcome.
The guy is a nut.

That's the thing about Arab countries: They frown on adults touching children
of the opposite sex but if a man touches a boy out of affection then that's
just dandy. MJ probably slapped his forehead when he found that out.

I was in that crazy chotzky store in the Venetian where he blew $1.2 million
on statues. I'm surprised MJ never started his own fleet of cruiseships,
honestly.

jvmv -- Here in America, Michael Jackson is a subject of fascination
not because people still idolize him, but because of the spectacularly
public nature of his meltdown. Yes, he was the #1 pop music star 15-20
years ago, but his recent work is not selling well at all, and he is
generally regarded as a lesson in what can go wrong when one has
too much money and fame at too young an age.

To add to that something that jvmv doesn't understand: Americans have
freedom and that freedom includes the freedom to be stupid and inane
(in fact, like jvmv) as well as the freedom to be intelligent and
creative. Few Americans would hold up Michael Jackson as an example to be
emulated, except perhaps in earning money.

MJ was brilliant. My wife is a big fan of his videos. There is an
evolution in his themes and video culture that the average stupid American
can't appreciate.
