I think we should have a special meeting to discuss what the future
hardware and software configuration of Grex should be. I think it would be
good to get some of the people who have strong feelings about the question
into the same room to try to hash something out. And for those of us who
don't have the technical expertise to make specific decisions, it will be a
chance to voice our opinions on what capabilities we'd like to see in the
next Grex, even if we can't make specific purchasing decisions. Maybe we
could start by making a wish-list of features, and then move on to the
question of how to implement them.
I'll volunteer my house for a potluck, and I'm thinking sometime in early
November. Who would like to come?

I've got a busy schedule, so I won't lobby for a favorite day, but if it works

I'm not sure we need to have one just now,but then again I haven't kept up
with things lately, sigh. I say this because there are some softwate
developments going on with OpenBSD and large sparc machines which will change
the potential lanscape in a short time.
However, I'm perfectly willing to sit and talk about stuff; that never
hurts. Probably a weekend would be best for me, or rather it would let us
yak longer about it all. Hmm. Well, maybe we ought to meet on a weekday so
as to put a cap on that. ;-)
