resp:1 (I wish I'd thought of it earlier. really, though, how long does it take to make a few dozen cookies?) resp:2 (the way I envision it, the interested people would bring several dozen cookies, say five, to the arranged meeting place. then the interested people would divvy up the cookies among themselves.) (it's really a fun way to get together, taste a variety of cookies, and have an assortment of cookies ready for Christmas guests without all the work.)

The insidious thing is that you can rationalize it by telling yourself you're doing it to be social, when really you're in it for the five dozen cookies you wind up with..
