I don't like actual RPG, I think because I've watched people devote their
lives to them, however, I suppose a once a week type thing could be kind of
fun... I've played D&D since I was six. I remember my first game. I got eaten
by this horde of killer bees...;) Which my brother thought was really funny
since Melissa means bee....yeah.....heh...;)

I think I just like my character- a female that kicks butt! She's one
chickl that can defend herself!

Put Cyberpunk 2020 & D&D in a blender & set to "puree".
the result is Shadowrun.
By the way, anne, my most powerful AD&D character is a female elven mage
(the DM threw level limits out the window for this one....)

Shadowrun is a futuristic game that takes place @2050 ce, magic has
reasserted itself into the world, quite strongly (althouhg many are sure
it never went away in the first place... ;) ). Anyway, magic is back,
so are elves, trolls, orcs, and fun stuff like that.

My character is a female former Yakuza ninja- physical adept. When I
first started running with her it was interesting cause all the other
players were male (the players were- there was one female character) and
my character was the best hand to hand fighter in the bunch! <anne grins>
T'was amusing.... :)

Sounds like fun, Anne....you'll have to tell me about it. :)
Would anyone else like to give a short background description of some of their
favorie RPG for those of us who are relatively illiterate? ;)

Level Limits stink. If you were an elf, would you appreciate some HUMAN saying
you can't get as good as them?

inanimate objects...... nice little guy, made quite abit

Greg- my character uses a katana too... although hers keeps getting taken
away and she is always buying new ones... <grin> She also has a monofilament
whip... my brother wasn't sure that was a good idea, but it works for my
character... <hee hee>

anyway, after stareing into the face of a few chuthulu minnions, he has
some.....uh, personality quirks. *chuckle* not to mention some lost essence. he
never seems to loose stuff, just his mind...... evil gm we have.... oh well.

I once had a AD&D character (wemic {lion-centaur}) have his tail stolen by a
kender...painful experience...

*eep* I did it again....sorry. :(
My character from D&D was a stinky one, my brother made it...which is probably
why I got killed by a pack of roving killer bees. *frown*
I am still sore about that...
