What about some of last year's items that we auctioned off , and people won
but haven't bothered paying Grex for yet? I'm certainly not sending dm my
elder version of Dark Sun that he won UNTIL he pays grex the 6 bucks hje owes
as I have not received confirmation of his donation.

I got burned in the M-Net Auction. Paid twenty five bucks and never got the
item. Sent mail repeatedly to the M-Net staffer who had the item and got
snippy replies. The item isn't even worth $25 but it's the principle o fthe
thing.

The auctioneers and I have agreed, this time around, to make a concerted
effort to ensure that things paid for in the Grex auction are actually
delivered.

Okay, why not. I'll have a re-vamped description in about two weeks.

So where and when do I make a bid for one of the chocolate-chip
pumpkin breads?

And this probably isn't nice to do but I'd like to suggest
something that could be auctioned. I'd be interested in
joining a walking tour of Ann Arbor's Old West Side with
a Historic Presevationist who would just ramble on about
architectural styles, original owners, renovation how-to's,
and anything else he'd like to share. Set a group size
and let that number of the highest bidders win.

I wonder who could lead such a thing? ;-)

I'll donate an Apple IIc Plus, with keyboard and 3 1/2" disk drive (it's all
in one box.) I don't have the monitor or the wires, but I can arrange for
the monitor at least, I think... I'm not sure if it's in working order, but
I'll try and test it out before then.

Hmm. I might be able to donate a gift certificate for a one night stay
at the Lakeside Inn in Lakeside. It's off of exit 6 on I94. Would anyone
be willing to drive that far? (Sorry, I can't deliver! ;) The regular room
rate is around $100; even though I can get a discount on it it would still
need to be worth it to grex for me to shell out the buck for this!

What do you think?

donate 2 items - photograph-on-something (t-shirt, ceramic mug, mouse pad,
pillow case, boxer shorts.... whatever)

your photograph (or disk/graphic image) [not any grex-store items] printed
on the surface of your choice.

re #17: Although that's a bit south of my native haunts I'd assume
(judging from "Harbor Country" and exit 6 on I-94 that Lake Michigan
would be the lake in question..)

I will donate:
                1) homemade whiskey cake
                2) A homemade apple crumb pie

Please, live in the Ann Arbor area. These can not be sent, but can, if close,
be delivered.
