We'll be missing this one, unfortunately. Sun and warmth calls. I'll give
the manager a call tomorrow and give them a heads-up for 6-8 people.

I'd suggest reports come before business, as business might depend upon
reports.

Reports? If we do reports before business, the entire meeting is
about reports and no business gets done. Is that what you want?

Is doing reports after business shorter? The business will certainly be less
informed, which might shorten it.
Set a time limit on reports.

Yes the reports after business are shorter. I like to allow them about 10
minutes. They are status reports, after all, not staff meetings.

Kent does a fine job at keeping the meetings on track and moving along.
The best I've seen, actually.

That is a good talent to have in someone running a meeting. I certainly
don't have it. In fact, I am the opposite and tend to take meetings off
track completely.

Note that if staff want the Board to address any issues, they can let me
know directly or enter them in this item. I'll try to add them to the
agenda (at the very least I'll bring them along as walk-in items). It's
the deviations from the agenda at the very beginning of the meeting that
usually derail everything. So that's why we've been moving the status
reports to the end. It has actually worked pretty well that way and
we've been getting through most of the agenda.

This meeting is canceled for Sunday night. Please suggest alternate
meeting dates that will work better for you.

Any Sunday will work for me. With advance notice, most other nights
will work, as well: I pretty much set my own schedule.

Some weeknights would work, some wouldn't. Sunday evenings are usually
fine.

Well, how about we push it out two weeks from last Sunday? Would that
work for everyone?

It should be fine for me. Same time/same place, I assume.
