SCO's claim on UNIX Mark Unseen   Aug 11 15:47 UTC 2007

According to NYTimes, a federal judge in Utah has ruled that SCO does
not have a legitimate claim of ownership of UNIX. Novell is free to
license it however it wants, including giving it away for free.

This is quite old, but I was looking for information on SCO Unix the
other day --- just because --- and realized that SCO is all but dead.
In some ways, that's kind of sad (they are a part of history), but in
other ways, it paves the way for new systems.
