According to NYTimes, a federal judge in Utah has ruled that SCO does not have a legitimate claim of ownership of UNIX. Novell is free to license it however it wants, including giving it away for free. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/11/technology/11novell.html | ||

This is quite old, but I was looking for information on SCO Unix the other day --- just because --- and realized that SCO is all but dead. In some ways, that's kind of sad (they are a part of history), but in other ways, it paves the way for new systems. | ||
