Here is the tentative agenda for the January 22 Board of Directors meeting.
I haven't got confirmation, but we should be meeting at ITI as usual.

2. Election of 1997 officers - all 10 minutes
3. Treasurer's Report - aruba 5 minutes
4. Computer Rehabilitation Committee - dang? 5 minutes

7. Unregistered Web conferencing - all 20 minutes
10. New Business - all ???

I think the anonymous reading issue needs to be put back on the agenda.
It is reasonable for theboard to work out and recommend a compromise,
even if there is ultimately a members vote.

We had asked for cfadm trainees. There have been some volunteers. Should
this be on the agenda?

A last-minute addition: Just received notice of the next JCC
sale in the mail today. Date is March 16, table rental is $40
per, and the agreement you sign appears to be the same as usual.
Let me know if we want to participate and how many tables we
need (we've been renting 2) and I'll take care of the rental.

I hate to be a stick-in-the-mud raging type A person here
but minutes from the December 18 and January 8 Board meetings
have not been posted as yet. Could someone maybe see to it?

Mary, I thought I posted them right after I made that comment about planning
to post them shortly. I have found no evidence that I did, but I know that
when I left town after my mother went into the hospital on Dec 28, it was
in the belief that I had no outstanding minutes to post. Obvously, I must
have been mistaken. I have scoured my desk for notes, but I have none.
I must have tossed them before I went to Virginia. I am sorry to disappoint
everyone on the final meeting as secretary. I have nothing to post.

Could the collective memories of those present put something
together? Like who was there and any votes taken or not
taken? I don't think we can simply not post minutes even
under such understandably difficult circumstances.

Valerie had the notes for the January 8 board meeting. The whole content of
the meeting was approving the purchase of the Sun 4/670MP. I entered a
response somewhere that listed who was there.

Simply talking about what happened in an item isn't enough.
