I could go either way on the meeting place. It certainly is more pleasant to
meet at ITI, and a lot easier to hear and be heard. But it's also clear
that when we meet in the Union, a lot more non-board members show up, and
I like that. Wish we could have it both ways.

Parking is much easier at ITI. That said, I have no proplem with the Union.

maybe if you guys gave out direction to ITI in the MOTD
(or a easy place to find them, not embedded in a conference)
more people would show up for your meetings there.

From M-14:
Get off at the Main Street/Business 23 exit. Take Main Street into
town. Most of the way through downtown, you will come to William Street.
Turn left, and go until it ends. Turn right on State Street, and the Union
will be on your right after about a block.

From I-94:
Get off at the State Street exit and take State Street towards downtown
(North). A while after State Street goes from four lanes to two lanes, you
will pass Packard and Hill Streets, which will be two traffic lights in fairly
quick succession. Keep going, and the Union will be on your left fairly soon
after that.

From US 23:
If you're coming from the South, go West on 94 and follow those
directions. If you're coming from the North, go West on 14 and follow those
directions.

The Union has always been a good place to meet in the summer
months when the student hordes are gone.

The Union has a large brown sign in front that says "Michigan Union" so it's
not that hard to recognize.

 Further directions:

The Board meeting is held in the basement food court of the Union. When
you enter the front doors of the Union, immediately take the stairs
inside the doors down to the basement. Straight from the bottom of the
stairs is the food court entrance. Walk into the food court, turn
right, and back into the section with all the tables. The Board meeting
is usually at a number of square tables pulled together.
