drivel:

This qualifies as actionable fraud under existing laws in the United
States. Canada has shown willingness to cooperate in computer fraud
investigations. Congratulations asshole, you just earned yourself some
jail time.
In response to a post I made including E-mail in which hayz3141 (who is not
user me) tricked user wolfcat (user wolfcat) into believing that Grex's staff
thought his (wolfcat's) account had been closed because child pornography was
found in it.
Needless to say, this was HAYZ's "actionable fraud" and not mine, and other
(user other) ought to apologize.

If a party claiming to have been defrauded makes an independent investigation
of the subject matter of the alleged false representation or promise and the
decision to engage in the transaction is the result of his or her independent
investigation and not his or her reliance upon the representation or promise,
he or he is not entitled to recover. (Carpenter v. Hamilton (1936) 18
Cal.App.2d 69, 75.)
