There is a culture of schizophrenia on Grex. This is perhaps underlined best by the following comment: #23 of 25: by Mary Remmers (mary) on Tue, Feb 24, 2004 (19:17): Our staff is doing a wonderful job of remaining cool and calm and reasonable despite the baiting. Kudos, guys. The problem, of course, is that there isn't any baiting. There isn't any effort to ruin Grex. But this doesn't stop people from posting schizophrenic comments like the above. Indeed, that's rather minor compared to some of them, which have claimed, among other things, that M-Netters are coming in an organised effort to cause problems, that there are folks here who just want to dictate policy for fun with little other involvement in Grex. These comments are baseless, but they're also indicative of the schizoid culture which has intercalated into your DNA, allowing you to view entirely benign suggestions and questions as attacks on Grex, and that not "remaining cool" by ignoring them, you're somehow losing. You're not. We love you, Grex.

I think the only "organized" efforts from M-Net to Grex in the past decade have been the Twinkie Conference Grexpeditions. The last one was probably four years ago.
