SCS is Strategic Computer Solutions, which is lk's company. He donated
the floppy drive. Thanks Leeron!

- I moved $1,000 from our savings account to checking, to help pay for the
new hardware.

- We had a member who was sending mass-mail from Grex. That's not
allowed, whether you're a member or not, so staff locked his account. He
requested a pro-rated refund of the dues he had paid, so we sent it to
him.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in April:

arabella, bruin, ckkrish, ea, krj, mary, micklpkl, and witling.

Thanks also to everyone who donated to help buy the new computer. I'll
put that list in the fundraiser item.

If you or your institution would like to become a member of Grex, it only
costs $6/month or $60/year. Send money to:

Cyberspace Communications
P. O. Box 4432
Ann Arbor, MI 48106-4432

If you pay by cash or money order, please include a photocopy of some form of
ID. I can't add you to the rolls without ID. (If you pay with a personal
check that has your name pre-printed on it, we consider that a good enough
ID.) Type !support or see http://www.cyberspace.org/member.html for more
info.

> We had a member who was sending mass-mail from Grex.

What does that mean? What is a "mass"?

Packages instead of packets. We frown on using Grex to send fruit and
meat across international borders.

Staff will have to give numbers, but the member in question was using a
script to send mail, which is a no-no.
