                   ------------
                        $440.91

Ending Balance $5,432.24

Our current balance breaks down as follows:

$4,195.24 General Fund
  $153.00 Silly Hat Fund
   $60.00 Spare Parts Fund
$1,024.00 Infrastructure Fund

The money is distributed like this:

$1,080.41 Checking account
$4,351.83 Savings account earning approximately 0.75% interest annually

We had two new members (frisk and ranun) in February. We are currently at
82 members, 78 of whom are paid through at least March 15th. (The
others expired recently and are in a grace period.)

Notes:

- We paid $23.90 to Dotster in January for registering grex.org, but I
forgot to record it then. We also got a mysterious "check card rebate"
for $3.19, two days after we paid Dotster. I'm not sure if they are
connected, but I'm assuming they are.

- The Silly Hat Fund had been stuck at $152.99 for a long time, so an
anonymous donor gave a penny to bring it up to an even dollar amount.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in February:

ah3133, arthurp, bmoran, bruin, chanur, dpfitzen, flem, frisk, glenda,
keesan, mudlark, polygon, raheim, ranun, steve, and one person who asked
to remain anonymous.

Thanks everyone!

I've got a savings account that's earning 2.25% right now ... the only
problem is that it's at an Internet Bank (still FDIC insured, but not
espicially convinient for me ... except that I have direct deposit set
up to automagically send a portion of my paycheck to the savings acct
each week)

The bank is ING Direct (www.ingdirect.com). I'm pretty sure they don't
require minimum balances (I'm under $500 because I've only had the
account open since late december, and no bank charges)

(I should also add that if you send me an email, I can send you a
referral code that will get Grex a $25 bonus for opening an account)

We received a statement from the city saying that they had processed the
personal property statement which we submitted in January, and that the
taxable value of our personal property has dropped from $2200 ro $1400,
which is about what we expected based on te values STeve gave our items.
So our tax should drop to about $85 this year.
