The board meeting's tonight and not a single shot at identifying the
numbering scheme of the agenda items? What's up with you people?

I'm still looking for the open parentheses.

Do you by any chance mean brackets, not parentheses, Marcus?

response 8 of 18: Mark Unseen   Dec 14 04:52 UTC 2002

No; every number is followed by a close paren, so where are the open parens?

The numbering is beyond my ken.

Hint: Each number is the sum of an ASCII number and the length of the
word which begins with the letter assigned to that ASCII number.

Eric...I think you put the notice up for the January meeting twice...

Would it be possible to pick a day other than Wednesday for Grex Board
meetings? Please?

response 12 of 18: Mark Unseen   Dec 16 20:11 UTC 2002

Yes, I think we can do that. Joe, can you attend on the day we scheduled
for the first meeting of the year? If not we need to enter into complicated
and tedious online negotiations for a new date, but if you can come on
wednesday just this once, then we can work something out at the meeting.

Re #10: I think that the first posting said 2002, not 2003.
But what do I know?

response 14 of 18: Mark Unseen   Dec 16 21:24 UTC 2002

You could be right, Dave. I didn't notice the year difference.

response 15 of 18: Mark Unseen   Dec 16 22:52 UTC 2002

The conflict is that the School Board has scheduled a study session for
19:00 that day. I don't *have* to be at school board meetings, but I
*have* spent wedding anniversaries at them. (And yes, on those occasions
the other celebrant was gracious enough to join me.)

It would probably help if I could find out what they plan to study,
but they don't seem to know yet.

It's tedious, I know.

OK, I'll send mail.

response 17 of 18: Mark Unseen   Dec 22 18:57 UTC 2002

(they wouldn't happen to be studying for a replacement superintendent,
possibly? I suppose they wouldn't have known for certain then, or at
least couldn't have confirmed.)
gelinas
response 18 of 18: Mark Unseen   Dec 22 19:58 UTC 2002

Could be. Board-Superintendent relations were an obvious topic. I should
have pushed harder to get the topic: study sessions are scheduled only as
needed. (They used to be a regular part of the schedule, on the first
Wednesday of every month.)
