WTKA affiliation for sports conference?

WTKA is a local sports station which has a WWW page. They've recently
shut down their sports forum because of unruly users. I seized the
opportunity and sent an e-mail to their Webmaster to see if they'd be
interested in sending their users to our sports conference.
I entered the text of the letter in item 122 in the sports conference.
I mentioned both M-Net and Grex, but since M-Net doesn't have "newuser"
right now, I'm more interested in Grex.
Then, with my typical afterthought, it occurred to me... can I *do*
this on Grex? What I'm hoping to get is a link on their WWW page to
here. I could maybe offer them a link back from the sports WWW page to
their site.
I'm not concerned at all that the sports conference can handle the
usage. There's currently no usage in the conference, other than a link
to a bicycling item from the current Agora.
Probably nothing will come of it anyway, but here's a heads-up and a
chance to admonish me if I've done something I shouldn't have. Also a
request for comments and suggestions.

(I can't think of any reason to admonish you, John. frankly, I wish I were
that motivated to promote conferences where I fairwitness.)

The fw should be able to put a link in the conference intro, and anyone
entering an item can put a link in the item text. As for unruly users,
well, we have no experience with those, but how much trouble can they be?

Well, I'll move forward, if I get the opportunity, with some
confidence, then. There's some enthusiasm both here and on M-Net,
which is gratifying.
