                        $913.07

Ending Balance $5,340.33

Our current balance breaks down as follows:

$4,103.34 General Fund
  $152.99 Silly Hat Fund
   $60.00 Spare Parts Fund
$1,024.00 Infrastructure Fund

The money is distributed like this:

$1,008.73 Checking account
$4,331.60 Savings account earning approximately 1.30% interest annually

I guess the CafePress commissions should count as activity in the Grex
store, so the balances become:

                         Cash Stock
                     --------- ---------
                      $149.40 $162.10
                       $55.00 <-- Commissions
                     ---------
                      $206.40

We had three new members in August (essex, antoniob, and tod). We are
currently at 83 members, 78 of whom are paid through at least September
15th. (The others expired recently and are in a grace period.)

Notes:

- We received a $20 commissin check from CafePress.com, as a result of the
Grex merchandise store that valerie set up for us at
http://cafepress.com/grexlogo. Valerie bought some merchandise there and
wasn't charged commission because she was the one who set up the store, so
she wrote Grex a check for what the commission would have been. (Yay
Valerie!)

- When our insurance was up at the end of May, our premium was slated to
increase from $375/year to $475/year. That seemed like a lot, so mary
went shopping for us; State Farm offered us coverage for the much more
reasonable rate of $165/year. Unfortunately, they subsequently backed
out, and we had to go back to Hastings Mutual. So that's why this month
we had both a refund from State Farm and a payment to Hastings.

- I was away for much of the month. Thanks to janc for being the stand-in
treasurer.

Thanks also to everyone who contributed in August:

antoniob, bruin, coyote, dpc, dpfitzen, essex, mopsy, n8rxs, scott, tod,
and valerie.

Thanks everyone!
