I propose Grex show its all-American spirit by holding a fund raiser for the men and women in our armed-services. Clearly, Grex has been getting along okay. Also clear, is that the armed-forces haven't. Just look at the tragedy of 9\11! How dare they do this to America! Thus, I think we should donate half of all 'our' profits to the people who keep us free.

Uh, what profits would this be?

There's a whole lot of overhead in holding such a fundraiser. Last that i heard, the DoD (Dept. of Defense) to accept donations for such things. Instead, why don't you write letters to Washington urging better pay and treatment for those being stationed in harm's way? Last i heard, the Pentagon wasn't interested in post-traumatic stress help for soldiers who'd seen combat, but was happy to add up the savings in future benefits when they committed suicide.

I'm beginning to like Phil. He offers a hilarous parody of the jingoist point of view. But I think he was funnier when he was trying to argue for getting 'polytarp' back again; the rationalizations were goofier.

Phil's heartfelt pleas are goofier than his parodies? Who'd've thunk it...
