Well, this is going to be interesting, because I usually do this mostly from
notes, but usually have some memory of what the notes mean.  This time around,
though, I don't have the slightest clue!  (Yeah, if somebody could translate
"Jan - Michael instead of Wolter", I'd be really thrilled....'cause I'm sure
it was really amusing at the time, and now it's just perplexing!)

I appear not to have a list of who was there (which is really odd for me,
because I usually have that written somewhere)  The meeting was called to
order at 7:15.

Chair Report:  We did not vote on the tape drive by our deadline!

Treasurers Report:  It mostly dealt with credit card stuff....some ideas how
we could cut down on credit card fraud, so that we weren't getting charged
constantly for bad credit card numbers.  We also discussed splitting the
treasurers job into 2 jobs.  Greg said that he was thinking of writing new
software to make the treasurer's job easier.

Publicity Committee: Nippo, zilch, nada!

Technical Committee: (I'm really amused at the picture of the horse with a
knife and a puddle of blood that I appear to have drawn at the top of this
page....)  Yeah staff for handeling Williard so well!!  There hasn't been
meetings lately, but nobody's feeling the lack of them.  We did discuss the
Telephone lines, and dropping them.  We also agreed to drop both ends of the
ISDN lines.  Drew had dropped off an older tape drive at the last meeting,
but nobody had gotten around to using it.  Jan Motiioned that we drop both
ends of the ISDN line, John seconded, and it was a rousing success.

We ended the meeting at 8:25 p.m.



I aplogize that this was so late, but I really didn't mean to loose my notes.
I also apologize for it being so haphazzard...as I remember, I *REALLY* didn't
want to be there, I was in quite a pissy mood, and really, my notes reflect
it.  They are normally a little better off.

I'm pretty sure I was there.  The above all sounds familiar, and I
remember going over to the pumpkin afterwards with drew & other to drop
the tape drive off.  I suspect STeve was was either not there, or left
early.

Actually, Marcus, you're remembering the August meeting-that-wasn't.  
That was the one following which we went over to the Pumkin to drop off 
the drive.

See, that was the only think that I could come up with....and that really
scared me.
