Eric, I wish you'd post the minutes a little earlier - I missed the meeting
because I assumed it was farther in the future than the day after this item
appeared.

Had I intended to go, I would have missed it, as I saw the item only after
the meeting. (I guess I did miss it in any case, but as it happened the
reason was not *that*. You know what I mean.)

Note that the President is required to post the agenda at least a week before
the meeting.

My apologies. I was incredibly overextended at work and the hours I was
putting in made it literally impossible for me to post this agendaa any
earlier than the day I did. I actually resigned from the job Saturday, and
posted the agenda Sunday (which was my first day off in a month).

One note on a decision made at the board meeting that the users should know
about: We decided to drop the current credit card service and go looking for
another one. The credit card thing worked great, except that it exposed us
to levels of fraud that cost us more than the credit cards were bringing in
added revenue. The credit card service we were working with did not seem to
be able to configure things in a way that would let us control this. So we
need to go looking for another credit card company, or we need to think about
creating our own secure server and running it right.
There was some support for opening a Paypal account in the meantime. We don't
think this is a very satisfactory substitute for accepting credit cards, but
it will work for some users and doesn't expose us to high levels of fraud.

Perhaps the motd should be updated about the credit card change?
