New Cf Proposal - Jobs/New Jobs

Carla proposed this in Agora, so I carried it here to make it official.
Carla is interested in setting up a job (or newjobs) cf. It would be dedicated
to job postings, resume advice, interview advice, stories related to work, etc.
I'm simply proposing this since I don't think she reads coop; It isn't an
offer to fw. (though I would co-fw if she wanted one)
Did I do this right? =)

I think this would be good. The fw could also read classified and small
business where some of the topics might be useful to link to jobs.

I think you ought to get her to participate here at least long enough to
express interest and a willingness to be a fw.

call it the "CAREERS" conf, not just job listings but discussions
about varoius careers and workplace issues

Not a bad idea...especially since we'd be discussing what Richard just stated.
I sent carla mail, and she said she'd pop in and join the discussion once she
got some free time.

This sounds like a cool idea. I might well be interested in getting
involved in such a conference. Of course, most of my thoughts on the
subject these days tend to take the form of rants, so I'm not sure how
much my input on the subject would be desirable...

Well, it's been over a month now since this was proposed. No one seems
to have a fire in his belly to do the work of fw'ing, and this item has
been pretty quiet. Really not enough interest to sustain a cf, or ???

Actually, I was without compuer there temporarily. Had to use some of the
parts from the old one in the new one. Heh. Trial and error.
I personally would like to see this cd go. I'll vote for it and volunteer
to be fw, also. Is there anyone that would like to cofw with me?
