I don't read Spanish, but somehow I suspect the answer is "no".
Translation, anyone?

Thanks for asking. Our answer has always been "no" in the past. Is
there any particular reason why we should want to do this?

(to the first question: I'm not a board member, and I'm not speaking for
grex as a whole, but I'm pretty sure we have a document somewhere
outlining why we don't allow eggdrops)

To Jan's question: I haven't seen any reason.

Running the Unix command:

        eggdrop

will give you the explanation for why eggdrop isn't allowed here.
It also provides a URL:

        http://www.cyberspace.org/staffnote/eggdrop.html

(for concgonz:)

No soy un miembro del Consejo, y no estoy hablando para Grex en su
totalidad, sino que soy bastante seguro nosotros tengo un documento en
alguna parte que contornean porqui no permitimos eggdrops

At least one of the web pages I wrote explaining why we don't allow eggdrop
suggests that if you don't like the policy you can come here to try to
convince us to change our minds. However it also says you haven't got much
chance of succeeding. So far no arguments have been offered about why we
should alter the policy. I suspect someone didn't fully understand my
remarks.
