Saw Robin Williams last night. Laughed *a lot*. Ate s'mores. Caps won.
All good.

I'm happy because its friday, and I'm going home this weekend, and I'm high
on caffeine which always makes me happier than I should be.

I am happy because I just thought of adding another pair of wool socks to keep
my feet from freezing on the cold kitchen floor. It seems colder than it has
been until now this year.

I successfully retrieved the favorite gloves which I left on the
counter yesterday at Wazoo Records in East Lansing. Thanks to the
storekeeper!

IHB the boy and I worked through some issues, finally. The past twenty hours,
in which we'd broken up, were sad, hectic, terrifying, and lonely. I've never
been so sad in my life, but things seem okay now. Phew!

A lot of the pain was due to the five-year friendship we were losing in
addition to the relationship. I refuse to lose my best friend.

had a few too many.

IHB I realized that one of the consequences of taking summer classes is being
able to go to the art fair this year! :)

The re-release of E.T. makes me very happy. If nothing else, it's a surreal
but cheerful experience to look at a movie made during the early 80s and
remember that, yeah, the world really did look like that once. Elliot's
character was older than me, but not by all that much -- hell, I had those
waffle-weave pajamas he spends half the movie in, and most of those toys, and
that haircut, and...

i will be getting paid for having spent the last two solid days learning
all sorts of cool things about how to develop a business project and get
venture capitalists to sign on to it without giving the whole store away.

it was a little surreal sitting in a room with a whole bunch people to
whom a million dollars is small change... but, hey. that's life.

Michigan won tonight, in a very good game. With the win, they advance
to the Frozen Four in 2 weeks. I'll be at the Frozen Four. :)

(plus I think I spotted senna on tv (he was at the game, I was watching
on TV))

Who played last night? I was told there was a team with a "wolf-dog" as its
mascot, and State, who "just stood there looking at the puck until someone
hith them.".

response 20 of 1000: Mark Unseen   Mar 24 06:53 UTC 2002

Really? Where was I?

I, too, am rather happy about the events of the weekend. Two wins, two
jaw-droppingly boisterous crowds, four great games (there were two others),
and a trip to the Frozen Four. Man, that was something. A
come-from-behind-in-the-third win tonight, no less. I have no voice, and
neither does anyone else who was there.

It should be noted that all three major state-of-Colorado hockey teams lost
today. I'm really happy about that. Two of them lost to Detroit-area teams.
The title of HockeyTown is safe.

senna - you were in the stands. I saw a face that looked like yours,
wearing a 3rd-color jersey, with the sleeves rolled up. (not that it
matters to any other Grexers, but Ramsay was shown a few times,
espicially during the postgame celebrations)

Joe - Friday: MSU lost to Colorado College (the Tigers), and UM beat St
Cloud State University (the Huskies). Saturday: Minnesota (Golden
Gophers) beat CC, and Michigan beat Denver (the Pioneers)

IHB the Wings beat the hell out of the Avs on Saturday--literally. A good
six-on-six skirmish followed Shanny's 500th goal; Chelly cross-checked
someone 5.5 times in a row, and we killed a 19-second 6-on-3 advantage to
put Hasek ahead of Waaugghh with 61 career shutouts.
