Summer began over an hour ago at 9:24 A.M.
Why are we still in the spring agora? C'mon staffers, get with it!

9:24 A.M. where? This U.S. Eastern Time Zone bias gets very tiring.

Doesn't the summer solstice have to do with the position of the Earth
relative to the Sun, rather than time zones?
Walter's late. No question about it. If he weren't a terrific cfadm,
we might have to think about chiding him mildly for this
transgression. Instead, based on his outstanding performance, I think
we should give him a 15% raise.

yes, jep, and resp:2 was mostly tongue-in-cheek. Celestial events such as
this would be better represented in universal time (UT).

I've noticed the situtation has still not been rectified, forcing me to read
Bruce's nonsense on religion (no, I *won't* take responsibility for my own
actions, I'm a Godless heathen!).
I'm very disgusted with Grex Admin now and demand a full written apology.
Or one of Jamie's brownies.

re #4: Except that I really was unclear about the definition of the
solstice, my response was intended to be pretty light as well. Man, I
wish someone would invent the smiley face so we can communicate
non-verbally.
Oh, wait, that's been done, but I just hate using the things. Some days
you just can't win.

I'm highly pleased with Grex Admin, but I demand someone give me a brownie
anyway.

seems like it usually gets turned over in the evening, regardless of official
season changing time.

Actually, it usually gets done in a daror two or three, whenever someone in
the admin gets around to it. Which is fine, I'm just playing.

Screw universal time. The only time zone that matters is Eastern Standard
Time. The worlds most powerful government is located there, and so am I, and
so is Grex. :)

Actually, part of the time the world's most powerful government is in
Eastern Daylight Time...
