It was going to be a site that would let you get fatwas issued over the
Internet. I don't know if they ever got it going, but I saw it when I was
in an Islamic Law class.
All a fatwa is, is a ruling from a Moslem religious authority on some point
of Islamic law. Most of them are about family law stuff, or business
contracts (the Koran has some rules that make modern business transactions
tricky unless you do them in roundabout ways), or things like "can Moslems
attend Christmas parties". There's one out there about how an astronaut
should handle the obligation to pray while facing Mecca (face the Earth, which
is pretty obvious). I've read one about having dogs in the house. The most
recent interesting one I've seen was about divorcing someone by SMS message.
Since Khomeini issued that one against Rushdie, everyone thinks it means
"death sentence," but the reality is a lot less dramatic.

Intifada: arabic word stands for shaking off or shivering because of fear or
illness. It also means abrupt and sudden waking up from sleep or unconcerned
status. Politically; The word came to symbolise the Palestinian uprising
against the Israeli occupation. The word also stands for the weakness of the
Palestinian people and their suffering under the Israeli occupation.
